A whole new era is starting at Woodio. The demand for Woodio products is growing fast, and we are now in the position to really start to increase our capacity, develop our new factory, and take on even bigger projects.
From this day on Terja Koskenoja has been appointed as the new CEO of Woodio.
Terja has previously been Woodio’s Chief Operations Officer, and that’s why she is the right person to take Woodio forward now as the new CEO.
Terja’s skills are the perfect match for Woodio. She started her career in the forest industry and has worked in multiple fields since. Terja also has experience for example in building e-commerce stores, digital services, running an automation/robotics project, and in business development and innovations.
“At Woodio, I get to utilize all of this, understand the company’s various functions in a versatile manner, and move the company forward in a situation where it is necessary to take the next big step forward and develop operations very actively. It’s a real pleasure to be involved in this development, and of course, it’s especially heartwarming to be proud of the company and of your part in ensuring that we do our best to curb climate change”, says Terja.
Woodio’s beloved founder Petro Lahtinen will continue as a member of Woodio’s Board of Directors.

It is difficult to imagine anything more interesting and motivating than turning a University based material innovation into award winning products and design brand. I am honoured that our work has not gone unnoticed, not only in Finland but internationally as well. I would like to thank all our forward-thinking customers, peers, and investors for their support and encouragement during the past years. Now after 7 years, I am happy to be able to leave Woodio´s operations to the very competent hands of our team and Terja”, says Petro

Tiina and Marko live in Savonlinna, in an old wooden house built in 1958 and surrounded by beautiful nature.
