MySense by Flamingo Spa is a comprehensive beauty and wellness center belonging to the Flamingo Spa group, located in the Jumbo-Flamingo shopping center in Vantaa, Finland. MySense offers a wide range of beauty treatments, including facial, body, hand and foot treatments. This gentle oasis of wellbeing takes a holistic approach to wellbeing, offering treatments that support an enjoyable relaxation experience. The spa uses the natural cosmetics range called Esse as well as the Finnish medicinal product range BTB13.

The MySense facilities

MySense has nine treatment rooms, each decorated in one main colour: green, light beige or powder pink. Each room has a colour-coordinated Woodio washbasin and countertop. There are also lovely relaxation areas for clients to come in before their treatment or to stay and enjoy for a moment afterwards. The renovated center also includes a yoga room.

The MySense center was renovated last spring. The previous facilities were in their original state, with years of wear and tear on the interior. The new spaces are more versatile, more functional and also more beautiful.

“We are extremely pleased with the new MySense facilities. This change has meant a lot to us and we are sure that it will also be reflected in customer satisfaction,” says Vilma Stassi, the Spa Manager of MySense.

Natural and inspiring interior

The interior of the beauty and wellness center was designed by interior architect Hanna Puolakka from Muodoste Design Studio. The interior design is soft, glowing and inspiring, just like the treatments offered by MySense. She wanted to add natural feel and warm tones, with a touch of delicacy.

“The renovated beauty center and yoga studio deserved an environment that was in line with the brand and its values. We found a common vision for the space concept, which during the process was called Warm Meadow: an earthy and gentle meadow of flowers that welcomes the visitor into its soft embrace,” Puolakka says.

Woodio products were a safe and reliable choice, thanks to being responsibly made in Finland. The Woodio Soft60 washbasins and the Woodio Solid countertop material used in MySense create the desired contrast in the treatment rooms, while matching the overall colour-on-colour theme of the rooms.

The soothing green-toned toilets feature Woodio Soft40 washbasins set on stunning Woodio Solid countertops, both in colour Polar. Products are displayed on shelves that are made of Woodio Solid sheet material and the reception counter is also made of Solid material.
