Woodio® material is a  100% waterproof wood composite that offers a more ecological alternative to ceramic and stone. Our signature biomaterial innovation is made from wood chips and resin-based adhesive.

No water is used in the making, and our manufacturing process also consumes much less energy than the making of traditional ceramic products for bathrooms. Thanks to our innovative manufacturing technology, Woodio products have a significantly lower carbon footprint than their competitors.

Our products are long-lasting, easy to care for and unbreakable in regular use. The wood in the Woodio material stores carbon for the duration of the product’s service life. At the end of their life cycle, the products can be disposed of and used as fuel in the waste-to-energy process. We carry out continuous product development to make our products even more bio-based and increase their diversion rate, with the aim of further reducing our carbon footprint.
