Company
Woodio is a Finnish modern-day interior and design brand that brings together the best of Nordic design traditions and the use of sustainable bio-material innovation in a contemporary way. All our products are made from our signature material called Woodio®. It is the world’s first 100% waterproof solid wood composite designed to replace ceramic and stone materials – sustainably.
Woodio colour palette ranges from harmonious tones of natural wood and polar white to dramatic shades of moss green and berry purple, and earthy brown tones of clay and root.
Hotel
Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa opened in the summer of 2020 in Turku, Finland. The atmosphere of the hotel is relaxed, fresh and uplifting. Woodio basins are installed in the hotel lobby restroom. The “green” room is truly designed as a space for a little rest from the day’s hustle and bustle. When you enter the room, the first thing you can hear is birds singing!
Villa Adele
Enjoy nature with a good conscience in a luxurious setting. Green Key certified Hawkhill Resort Villa Adele offers an exclusive lakeside holiday only 45 min from Helsinki in the beautiful surroundings of Nuuksio National Park. The luxury deadwood cottage was opened in May 2020 with the goal to be both luxurious and environmentally friendly.
Igloo village
Take a peek inside Nature Igloo Village Magical Pond located in Finnish Lapland near by Ruka Ski Resort in Kuusamo. Magical Pond is a place to hear the silence, enjoy pure nature and experience the true beauty of the arctic night. The modern igloos are made in Scandinavian style with an unusual shape that allows guests to observe the nature as close and comfortably as possible. Woodio Cube60 wall hung washbasins make a graceful continuation of the modern natural feeling of the igloo interior also into the bathrooms.
Hotel
Design hotel and restaurant Arctic TreeHouse Hotel provides a unique blend of luxury and comfort in the heart of Arctic nature, local Lappish traditions and modern Scandinavian design. The hotel is located in Rovaniemi, Finland.
Hotel
Hotel Haaga is an independent and unique wellness hotel in Helsinki, Finland. The hotel has 122 comfortable guest rooms, premises for various sizes of events and a wide range of meeting rooms for up to 240 people. Hotel Haaga has received the Green Key certification, which means that the hotel is committed to increasing awareness about the environment and minimising the environmental burden of accommodation operations.

Restaurant
Harbor Tap & Taste in Helsinki, Finland, is a food restaurant that also invests in a wide selection of beers. You can enjoy the Woodio wall panel prototypes at the restaurant’s bar area, while sipping your favourite brew. Interior design by Suvi-Maria Silvola and Liivika Muur.
Hotel
Summer Night, Salmon and Tar – the locally inspired themes in the room remodelling of Original Sokos Hotel Arina create a strong, memorable ambiance. The hotel is located in Oulu, Finland. The uniform solutions throughout the rooms provide a controlled entity where the themes become individualised by the tones and impressive wood feature walls, complimented by Woodio washbasins in the remodelled rooms’ bathrooms.
