Company
The colour range of Woodio draws inspiration from the wild nature of the North. Woodio’s coloured products are made from 2 mm aspen chips. The aspen chips are dyed by hand at our factory using water-soluble stain colours.
Our range also includes undyed tones of 2 mm and 5 mm aspen chips as well as birch 6 mm side stream chips. You’ll recognize them by the name Natural.
A darker gray tone
Mud
Mud is the gray in our colour range. It’s a stable and earthy shade, inspired by soil and stones. Mud is timeless and always stylish.
Cold tones
Char, Arctic, Stone & Moss
Our darkest tones are Char, Arctic, and Stone. Each of these has its own nuance. Char is an elegant charcoal black with a hint of smoky blue. Arctic is a deep blue shade with a touch of green. Stone is a sophisticated stone grey hue with hints of brown and blue.
Our green shade, Moss, is like a welcoming embrace of the forest and moss that you can feel beneath your feet.
Warm tones
Root, Clay, Berry & Blossom
The dark brown Root is a sturdy and calming tone. Clay continues our earthy palette by bringing in the warmth of terracotta and autumnal hues. Berry is our delicious berry-red shade with a hint of pink. Eye-catching Blossom, on the other hand, is our pink tone inspired by lush flower fields, guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

Woodio® wood composite
The Woodio® material we’ve developed is a completely water-resistant wood composite, designed as a more eco-friendly alternative to ceramics and stone. The material combines wood chips with a resin-based binder.
Recycling
Woodio material is highly durable, and at the end of its lifecycle, Woodio products and sheet materials can be sent to our factory in Finland, where the material is sorted and used as part of cement production.
Sustainability
Designed to be a more environmentally friendly option for wet room products and fixtures with a high carbon footprint. Our mission is to combat climate change through sustainable materials and design.
